Abstract (EN)

The use of unmanned aerial vehicles is becoming more widespread in the world every day, and easy access and use is one of the biggest factors in this spread. With the diversification of usage areas and needs and the advancement of technology, unmanned aerial vehicle systems are designed with various performances and capabilities. This makes it difficult to gather unmanned aerial vehicle systems under certain standards. Many classification methods have been created for military and civilian purposes, but none of them have a specific standard classification. These systems, which can be considered as new users of the airspace, should give priority to the safety management system, like all users, and should deal with the safety management system components and with them develop their systems and operations. In this study, occurrence reports of unmanned aerial vehicles were collected and examined under the ICAO standards. The data in the reports were classified into a single standard, analyzed reactively from the perspective of the safety management system, according to ICAO classifications, and statistics were created. It has been observed that research on unmanned aerial vehicle systems and their relations with safety systems has increased today and it is thought that this thesis will benefit the studies to be done in the future.
