Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this study is the effect of separation of parents on the religious life of children between the ages of 10-14 (Kastamonu / Tosya Case). The participants of the study consisted of 204 students in Tosya District of Kastamonu. 102 student's parents divorced and 102 student's parents live together. Personal information form as data collection tool and Münchner Motivational Religiosity Scale developed by Zwingmann et al. (2004) was used. The validity reliability test of the scale was performed by Uysal, Işık ve Turan (2017). As a result of the research, it was seen that children whose parents were separated differed from the children living with their parents in performing prayers such as praying, fasting, reading of the Qur'an, and the mean scores of religious motivation differed significantly.
