Abstract (EN)

Studies in materials science have concentrated especially the mentioned studies aim at producing more functional material at lower temperatures and with lower costs. In this study the anorthite material was obtained using calcite, kaolen, albite and orthoclase. To this end, samples were produced through mixing calcite with groleg kaolen and Tavşanlı kaolen at specific proportions. The prepared samples were sintered between 1000 oC-1400 ? C. The strength, resilience, water absorption and shrinking values of the samples were observed. The results indicate that samples 2 and 5 provided better results compared to other samples. Thus the samples 2 and 5 were mineralogical being reviewed. Novel recipes were formulated considering the recipes 2 and 5 which yielded anorthite output. The prepared recipes were sintered between 1000 ? C-1200 ? C. It was observed that the strength of the novel recipes slightly increased, water absorption values decreased and shrinking values have significantly decreased. Were made the prescriptions of the industrial application of number 4 and 8.Keywords: Anorthite, Calcite, Industrial Application, Kaolin, Whiteness, XRD.
