Determination of the nutritional state of industrial tomato grown in the Down Great Meanderos Basin

Abstract (EN)
This research was carried out to investigate the nutritional status state of industrial tomato in the lower basin of Great Meanderos. For this reason, soil,leaf and fruit samples were taken from 39 different areas where industrial tomato was grown. pH, electrical conductivity, CaCO3, organic matter, total N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu, and B analyses were done in the soil samples. N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu and B in the leaf; width, length, weight, hardness, brix , pH and titratable acidity analyses in the fruit were done. Soil texture was loam in the research field soils. Soil pH and CaCO3 contents were determined as higher than that of acceptable levels of industrial tomato growing. In addition that, soil organic matter contents were found as insufficient and, salt contents of soils were recorded as low. While Soil total N, exchangeable K and Na values were found at low level, P, Ca and Mg values were obtained at sufficient levels. The micro element values of % 100 soils were found to be adequate. When the macro nutrients contents of the leaves were examined, while 76.92 % of total lands for N, 48.72% of total lands for P, and 56.41 % of total lands for K and Ca levels were found as low, Mg values were sufficient. When the contents of micro-elements of leaves were examined, in all samples, Fe contents were found at low levels. Mn levels of 61.54% of leaves were found as insufficient, but Cu, Zn and B elements were determined as sufficient level. According to fruit morphological analysis results, it was observed that fruits have the desired quality criteria for industrial tomato.
