Abstract (EN)

THE ANALYSIS OF HARMONIC REACTANCES AND TORQUES ON THE EXPANDED EQUIVALENT CIRCUIT OF THE INDUCTION MACHINE SUMMARY Key words: Induction Machines, Space Harmonics, Harmonic torques The performance of induction machine is strictly subjected by space harmonics depending on the design parameters. Since space harmonics cause an increase in reactances and losses and add ripple torques on torque-slip curve, they should be suppressed by design. In this study, firstly the air gap mmf distribution of induction machine is analyzed, categorizing the harmonic fields found in the gap. Important space harmonic orders are obtained in machine parameters, in Section 2. In the fourth Section, machine reactances are classified in machine construction. The parameters which act reactances are found for different constructions. Their close dependence with space harmonics are shown. To analyze an induction machine having space harmonics, an expanded equivalent circuit including space harmonics subcircuits is established in Section S. The parameters in the equivalent circuit based on the reactances found in the Section 4, are converted by the appropriate actors for the subbrancb.es of the circuit. In the Final Section, sixth, harmonic torques are analyzed and, their dependencies and design parameters are given. For good machine performance, stator-rotor slot number couple recommendations are given. xfl
