Abstract (EN)

Asynchronous motors are the machines which are preferred mostly when the electrical energy is converted to the mechanical energy. Efficiency during the energy conversions is of the uttermost importance for preferences. In addition, the motors are expected to be cheaper and give long life service under working conditions. In this study, a new stator slot is designed for eliminate space harmonics in three-phase, two-pole and 24 slots asynchronous motor. Asynchronous motor model is drawn using with Autocad. After that, analysis are made for normal slot structure and new slot structure in FEMM program. After we changed the slot structure and made short-pitching, we could see that space harmonics are eliminated.
