Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted with the aim of making organic safflower plant more known at the local level and to investigate the awareness and consumption of organic safflower plant in Bayburt scale. Safflower plant is recognized as an important component of organic agriculture and therefore determining the right growing conditions and suitable cultivation areas is a critical step for the success of organic agriculture. Within the scope of the study, a research was conducted on the awareness and consumption of safflower plant in Bayburt scale. It is thought that the results of this study will be important in terms of promoting organic agriculture for safflower and developing sustainable agricultural practices. Successful cultivation of safflower plant in Bayburt scale can provide both environmental and economic benefits and contribute to the dissemination of organic agriculture. Therefore, the results of the study may be useful for organic agriculture practitioners, farmers and local administrations. When the findings of the study are examined, it is understood that the attitude of the participants towards the "purchase" dimension has the highest mean, while the "use" dimension has the lowest mean. In addition, there is the highest correlation between "awareness" and "use" dimension and the lowest correlation between "purchase" and "awareness" dimension.
