Abstract (EN)
The primary purpose of this research is to investigate whether waste tile dust can be used for the construction of concrete pavements and whether it is suitable in terms of economy. Within the scope of the thesis research, tile dust, silica fume, cement, steel fibre, aggregate and superplasticiser were obtained and four different concretes were produced. These were Reference Powdered Concrete (RFB), Reference Fibre Powdered Concrete (RLFB), Tile Powdered Powdered Concrete (KPB) and Tile Powdered Fibre Powdered Concrete (KLPB). Three different curing processes were applied to the resulting specimens: 4 days 20℃ water + 2 days 180℃ oven curing, 7 days 20℃ water curing and 28 days 20℃ water curing. After curing, the specimens were subjected to compression test, bending test, abrasion (Bohme) test and freeze-thaw test. In addition, UPV test, SEM-EDX analysis, XRD analysis, FT-IR analysis and also adhesion test were performed to strengthen the accuracy of these tests. The research experiments were carried out at Siirt University Civil Engineering Construction Laboratory. Then micro experiments were sent to Munzur University Laboratory and carried out. As a result of all the experiments, it has been proved that tile dust can be used in concrete road and in addition, it is seen that it can be a much more durable and high strength concrete road than the concrete taken as a reference.
