Abstract (EN)
Attilâ İlhan is one of the leading poets, writers and thinkers of Turkish literature. Geography has an important place in the poems of the artist, who reflects his personal life and the traces of the places he lived in in his works. In our study, it is aimed to examine the poet's poems through the relationship between literature and geography. The relationship between literature and geography is a field of study that evaluates the effects of literature, which takes its subject from humans, and geography, which explores the relationship between humans and the environment, on each other. In İlhan's poems, geography is discussed in various aspects, beyond the meaning of the term, such as the climate, population, culture, city life and history of the region. Places from various parts of the world, which he deals with in line with his own views and ideas, apart from the regions he has visited or lived in, are included in İlhan's poems. In our study, based on the artist's biography, the geography and language features of his poems were examined.
