Abstract (EN)
This study focuses on a comparative analysis of consumer rights in Turkey and the European Union. In the first section, the concept of consumer and its legal foundation have been studied. In the second section, the rights introduced by ?Act No. 4077 on Consumer Protection as Amended by Act No. 4822? have been investigated. Third section makes a comparative analysis of consumer rights by considering the directives of the European Union Commission on this subject and the regulations in force in Turkey.
