Signs of social life in Bâkî?s odes

This study is prepared in order to show and perceive social life traces analysing Baki Divan(council) called `Sultanü?ş-Şuâra? in its period and made its mark an XVI. century.Baki accesses climax on sense of art in its period and makes a succes of manipulating many factors of social life in term?s conseption horizon. In this study, it is thought to discover how social life was according to Baki?s look with this thesis predicated on ?Baki Divan(council)? prepared by, Sabahattin Küçük. Moreover, that Küçük introduces reliable and valid text plays an important role to be chosen Baki Divan(council) for thesis. That Baki Divan(council) is extensive causes to restrict the study. Because of this, odes are dominant in this study. This study occurs text of staves reflecting social life and translation of Turkish and comments. The figures at the end of staves demonstrate ode and figure numbers.This study occurs six parts which are preface, input, social life?s stages, conclusion and bibliography. In input, social and cultural part is evaluated political, literary and poem-society structure of term in XVI. century which Baki lived in. Every part is written benefiting own literature, when they are examined one by one independently.
