Abstract (EN)
The banking sector, which is one of the leading economic actors, has reached its current state by changing and transforming with every society. Each change has the quality of preventing the crises that may occur after the economic crises experienced or that may occur, but also contains certain risks within itself. In this study, in which the sector is examined in detail, the Currency Conversion Currency Protected Deposit Account, which is considered as one of the main risks in banking and brought as an alternative solution to the exchange rate risk accelerated by the inflation that has been going on for many years in Turkey, is discussed. In order to make the related calculation more understandable, the subject has been clarified by giving numerical examples. The studies on the subject were reviewed, and the scanning method was used in the study, in which the advantages and disadvantages of the deposit account subject to the research were also stated.
