Cross sections theoretical calculation for some natural elements

Abstract (EN)

The neutron, quasi-deuteron, gamma absorption, total neutron production and isotope production, cross section calculation in gamma reactions were made for some natural elements in Giant Dipole Resonance (GDR). These calculation results, were compared with the experimental data in Internatinal Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) data library EXFOR.The direct reactions GDR parameters and the photo-absorption model were used in calculations, which were made by using the parameters related to these models. These calculations were made by using TALYS 1.2 nuclear reaction computer code program.In the study cross sections of (g,n)+(g,n +p) reactions for 0Ag, 0Ba, 0Cd, 0Ce, 0Cl, 0Cu, 0Er, 0Ga, 0K, 0Nd, 0Pb, 0Rb, 0Sb, 0Si, 0Sm, 0Sr, 0Te, 0Zr with 4 -35 MeV incident energy photons (in GDR Region) were calculated. Calculated cross sections and the available cross sections were compared and found to be in good agreement.
