Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, two different type of phthalocyanines were synthesized. First phthalocyanine compound 8 is a trimer type consist of Co(II) and Ti(IV) as metal has been prepared by one-step reaction using novel phthalocyaninatocobalt(II) and hexadecafluorodecylthio-titanium(IV)oxide phthalocyanine. The synthesized trimeric molecules have been characterized by UV-Vis., IR and MALDI-TOF mass spectroscopies. The second compound 12a, 12b is a new type of Pc called "ring type" was prepared by using phenolic OH groups of previously synthesized across adjacent ring formed copper and zinc phthalocyanines and titanium isopropoxide. The ring type Pc 12a has been synthesized from 1,1,2,2-tetrakis(p-hydroxy-phenyl)-ethane and the water-soluble form of 12b was acquired from the boiling suspension of the compounds in aqueous 20% KOH solution. The synthesized molecules have been characterized by ICP-OES, UV-Vis. and MALDI-TOF mass spectroscopies. The samples have been analysed by EDX in order to get structural morphology of the phthalocyanine (Pc) thin films.
