Abstract (EN)

In this study, defining the mutagenic effects of 6 ruthenium derivates and cisplatin were approached by Ames/Salmonella test. In the test, TA98 and TA100 strains of Salmonella typhimurium were used. TA98 strain has frameshift mutation, TA100 strain has base-pair substitution. Spontane colony number for TA98 is 20-50 and for TA100 is 125-200. Sodium azid was applied as a positive control for TA100, 4_nitro_o_phenilendiamin was applied for TA98. Genotype controls of TA98 and TA100 bacterial strains of Salmonella typhimurium were accomplished. Toxic and nontoxic doses were determined by defining cytotoxic effects of 6 ruthenium derivates and cisplatin. The mutagenic effects of 6 ruthenium derivates and cisplatin, which were exposed to TA98 and TA100 strains, were shown as dose dependent respond curve by drawing graphics. According to findings from graphics, matching the mutagenic effects of 6 ruthenium derivates and cisplatin on TA98 and TA100 strains were submitted.
