Abstract (EN)
The investigation of earthquake-resistance of reinforced-concrete buildings, determining and examining the earthquake safety of the constructions and the parameters which influence their safety have recently became more important. Heavy damages on constructions after the earthquakes that we experienced show that our constructions do not have sufficient safeness. This study is about those methods for determining of earthquake performances of constructions, which have recently been developed and take gradually part in the earthquake regulations, are practiced on reinforced-concrete constructions with different storey height. Within the scope of this thesis, five type sample reinforced-concrete constructions with different storey height and number were patterned in order to determine the earthquake safeties of current reinforced-concrete constructions and evaluate the parameters which influence confidence. In the event of that the storey height of is 2.5m, 2.75m, 3.0m, 3.25m and 3.50m, 5-storey and 7-storey framed buildings were designed and compared in terms of economy and statics. It was aimed to determine how much different storey heights influence construction behaviour and performance level.
