Abstract (EN)
According to TBDY2018, the effects of non-linear behavior of slabs on the system are neglected in reinforced concrete beamless slab systems, except for special cases. In this thesis, the effects of nonlinear behavior of floors on earthquake performance were investigated. The nonlinear behavior of slabs was investigated with two different models: fiber layer modeling and equivalent frame method. The thesis is divided into three main parts. In the first part, the floors are modeled linearly. In the second part, the floors were included in the nonlinear behavior with the finite fiber layer method. In the third part, a model was created with the equivalent frame method as an alternative to the finite fiber layer method. The results of the three models were compared and it was observed that the non-linear behavior of the slabs affected the unit deformation rates of column and wall elements, performance limits, hinge status of the slab elements and stiffness.
