Abstract (EN)
In this study, mutagenity of six different water and sediment samples of Karasu River determined by Ames test. In this test TA 98 and TA 100 strain of Salmonella typhimurium were used. TA 98 strain has frameship muatation, TA 100 has base-pair substition. The experiment was established 5 doses with 3 replicates for each point. The mutagenic effects of water and sediment samples, which were exposed to TA 98 and TA 100 strain, were shown as dose depent respond curve by drawing graphics. According to finding from graphics, matching the mutagenic effects of water and sediment samples on TA 98 and TA 100 strain were submited.
