Abstract (EN)

In this study, the relationship between organizational structure variables, formalization, centralization, professionalization and size, and organizational innovation is investigated in terms of organizational configuration in the informatics sector (information and communication sector) for mechanistics firms in Turkey. The focus of this research was how mechanical firms transform from one configuration to the other on the basis of their degree of innovation.Both qualitative and quantitative methods are used in this study. The results indicate that innovation strategy of the mechanistic firms in the informatics sector in Turkey depends on the degree of professionalization and specialization. Thus, there is no relation to the formalization, size and centralization for making innovation.
