Considering that 35% of the energy in our country is consumed in buildings and 80% of the energy consumed in the buildings is used for heating purposes, it is very important that more energy efficient heating systems to be installed in the buildings will be provided with suitable heat insulation to be applied to the buildings. It is aimed to examine the thickness of the thermal insulation material used in the basis of TS 825 Thermal Insulation Rules of a building in terms of energy saving. For this purpose, a building in Bolu province was selected, the building elements in the outer shell of the building, the required annual heating energy need, the building's energy efficiency, the building's specific heat loss calculations were made by giving the building elements in the building in the section of the thermal permeability coefficients were determined. The building, window, concrete and Wall materials were determined. In addition, thermal insulations of the buildings in the area were examined by thermal camera.
