Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is the application of the APQP (advanced product quality planning) method, the benefits of using tools such as FMEA (defect mode and effects analysis), SPC (statistical process control) and MSA (measurement systems analysis) effectively. In the application studies, all situations from the customer demand to the serial life of the product were handled in detail. IATF 16949 automotive quality standard was followed in the new product commissioning method. The limits of the study were determined as the supply of raw materials and the entire production processes, and "1 piece of automobile plastic" was used as the functional unit. According to the findings, it has been shown that when APQP is used effectively, it will provide benefits to the business in terms of quality product production and the effectiveness of the action plan together with the improvement work in FMEA has been shown as positive results. The study was implemented in an established automotive company operating in the plastic and rubber sector in Kayapa, Bursa. 38 possible process errors were detected in 15 processes, which were determined as H (high) and M (medium) in the action plan at the first stage and which required action. These were examined within the scope of the study and removed from the process.
