Abstract (EN)

In this study, pumice material and Ahlat stone mixtures taken from Bitlis region were prepared by mixing in three different grain sizes as 0.5 mm, 2 mm and 4 mm. In addition, pumice and pear stone, with their unique properties, were tested without mixing. Experimental samples were prepared in fifteen different mixtures by mixing Bitlis pumice and Ahlat stone (PÇK 52,5 R) was used as a binder in all of the mixtures. After 7 days of water curing was applied to the samples, they were dried and ready for strengthening, they were subjected to experiments. The tests to be applied to the samples were prepared in 5x5x5 cm molds to measure the thermal conductivity coefficient according to the device capacity, and in 4x4x16 cm molds for the compressive strength, capillary water absorption test and the tensile test in bending at three points. In addition, pure pumice and pure Ahlat stone were subjected to the same test in the same mold dimensions. Since the cement ratio in the mixtures is kept constant and differs according to the porous structure of the material used, the water ratio is used differently in the mixtures. The samples were removed from the molds after 24 Hours. Thermal conductivity, compressive strength, capillary water absorption test, tensile strength in bending ,ultrasonic sound transmission velocity test porosity and water absorption tests were carried out.
