Abstract (EN)
The aim of this thesis is to deal with the situation of women in Byzantine Society who take part nearly all area of the life and examines the roles of them in Byzantine culture and Byzantine daily life in detail. Hereunder, our study focuses on the women's condition and struggle for life which cames from the time of traditions in Rome State and unites Byzantine Society's culture and civilization over again in 1453 when the Empire ends up. It's impossible not to be affected by this darkness of the women who live in this bad conditions in the Middle ages. Therefore, the main reason why the women are under inspection and insignificant is the condition of the time. The women of Byzantine have achieved to eliminate same part of the negative perpection because of the education and experience they have with time and this caused to glorify their fellow creatures. Our study consists of four parts and it is tried to mention all of the details about women and family, education, marriages, women in different kinds of occupations, the identifications which women's use, women's rights and abuse of women to be able to understand how they keep up their lives.
