Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is; The aim of this course is to examine the self-esteem levels of individuals engaged in cycling. A total of 100 volunteer volunteers who live in the provinces of Batman and Gaziantep and live a sedentary life were included in the study. The participants were selected by random method. In the study, the sub-category of Rosenberg self-esteem scale consisting of ten questions was used to determine the self-esteem levels of the individuals. SPSS 25 IBM statistical package program was used in the evaluation and calculation of the data. Data are summarized as mean and standard deviation. As a result of the analyzes, it was found that the self-esteem levels of the group engaged in recreational cycling were significantly higher than the self-esteem levels of the sedentary individuals (p <0.05). found to be. As a result, we can say that self-esteem is related to the physical appearance of individuals and physical activities that will be done for recreation, however, have positive changes on selfesteem levels of individuals.
