Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to examine and evaluate the life, art, education and contributions of Bülent Ateşoğlu, one of Turkey's leading opera singers, to Turkish opera as a soloist. In the research, descriptive analysis was conducted through qualitative research method, document scanning and interview technique. This research is a monograph study that has been tried to be carried out in accordance with the scanning model. Bülent Ateşoğlu took part in many opera companies both in Turkey and abroad, took the stage in countless performances and gave a magnificent performance. His strong bass voice, everyone's acting skills, as well as his professional ethics, seriousness, diligence and discipline, and his efforts to work together impressed all his artist friends. Ateşoğlu, who draws attention regarding the scope of his education outside of being an opera soloist, has been generously transferred and transferred to the amount obtained as a result of his decades-long career on the stage with the structure of a doyen opera singer. Among the reasons why the artist uses this work as a subject are its permanent features. Within the scope of the study, in addition to the semi-structured interview with Ateşoğlu himself, interviews with his colleagues and them were conducted. Based on the findings obtained at the end of the study; It is seen that Bülent Ateşoğlu has been interested in music since his childhood, received a formal and satisfying conservatory education, and made very important contributions to Turkish opera with his singing, acting, management and entertainment identities.
