This thesis enables a working definition of what the Middle Income Trap is,and of reason why the Middle Income Trap is. The increase in economic gap between countries and the pasive position of emerging economies in the same level of income form the conceptual framework of middle income trap notion. The fact that the countries remain in middle income level in a long time span and do not pass to high income level is called as "middle income trap" (MIT), a recent concept in economics.In this study, we aim to describe the situation in the economies of Turkey, South Korea and Bulgaria countries and to investigate whether they are in the middle income trap or not by doing either some statistical applications or econometric analysis. In this our thesis, Middle Income Trap is associated with endogenous and exogenous growth models and development models. Economics of Turkey, South Korea and Bulgaria are examined carefully by investigating sectoral and macroeconomic data and exit strategies are described for the countries with middle income trap. In the end stage of the study, variables between 1980-2015 we collected to test the determinant of middle income trap. According to the results of the analysis concludes a long term relationship among variables for there countries. And than, for per capita income was investigate to Granger cause and action and reaction decomposition. All results was reviewed the result section.
