Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out between 2009 and 2013 in order to determine the Flora of Çakırdağı Mountain. Research area is situated in province of Karaman and within C4 of Grid system. 516 taxa belonging to 61 families and 270 genera were determined in the research area. Of all the collected specimens, 88 (%17,1) taxa are endemic for Turkey. The phytogeographic elements are represented as follow: Irano-Turanian 154 (29,8%), Mediterranean 62 (12,1%), Euro – Siberian 13 (2,5%), widespread and undeterminated taxa 287 (55,6%). 2 taxa belong to Pteridophyta 514 taxa belong to Spermatophyta. Gymnospermae are represented by 4 taxa, Angiospermae are represented by 510 taxa. The largest families according to number of taxa in the research area are as follows: Asteraceae 76, Fabaceae 49, Brassicaceae 46, Poaceae 37, Lamiaceae 36, Caryophyllaceae 31, Boraginaceae 22, Apiaceae 16, Papaveraceae 15 and Ranunculaceae 14. The richest genera according to the number of taxa that in the research area are as follows: Astragalus 17, Medicago 12, Centaurea 11, Alyssum 11, Galium 9, Silene 8, Valerianella 8, Euphorbia 7, Salvia 6 and Veronica 6. According to the life forms of the plants grow in the research area is as follows: Terophytes 201 (% 39), Hemicryptophytes 200 (% 38,8), Geophytes 49 (% 9,5), Chamaephytes 34(% 6,6), Phanerophytes 27 (% 5,1), Vascular Parasites 5 (% 1).
