The frequency of involuntary pregnancies at working and unworking women and the study of why they don't want to become pregnant

The most important reasons for involuntary pregnancy todo not use any preservation methods or failure contraseption methods and get notenough knowledge about involuntary pregnancies . Involuntary pregnancies areusually result by abortus curratage. The women use the curratage for unplainnedpregnancies and limitted the child count and they use the curratage one of thecontraseption methods.Our study?s aims are performing the woman who apply for Afyon KocatepeUniversity Ahmet Necdet Sezer Practice and Study Hospital Clinic of Obstetric atfertile age ,their involuntary pregnancies frequency and why they don?t want toconception. Our aim to have access to the fertil age women who apply for AKU ANSand Practice and Study Hospital Clinic of Obstetric between July/2006 andAgust/2006. 507 healty women were enrolled in the study and we used aquestionnaire form which include 40 questions to collect data.Questionnaire form enclose demographic characteristic ,general healthinformations, woman jobs, previous history of pregnancy, involuntary pregnancyfrequency and it?s reasons. The following outcomes were recorded using SPSS forWindows 11,0(Statistical Package for social Scienses for Windows)programme. Thedescriptive critarions for analysing of datas are (mean rate ,standard detour,minimumand maximum preciousness,percent ratio) Pearson Ki-square (x2) test and student t-test .A p value <0.05 was considered significant.This study shows that 44 per cent women were had involuntary pregnancy atleast once. nvoluntary pregnancy frequency is unworking women 53.2 % andworking women is 34.7%. 57.5 per cent of 38-43 year old married women and 25 percent of 20-25 year old married women had involuntary pregnancy. This is consideredthat involuntary pregnancy frequency increase with age.When compaired the education level, we recognized that the involuntarypregnancy frquency with untutored women much more than educated women. Therate of involutary pregnancy with untutored women 66.7 per cent and with educatedwomen 28.9 per cent . This shown that involuntary pregnancy decrease witheducation.In study unworked women have pregnancy at the earlier age and have alivebirth count are more than educated women .Reasons of the involuntary pregnancyinclude economical condition (58.3%) with unworked women and the job or workingsituation (56.5%) with working women . Wherefore involuntary pregnancy withunworked women don?t know how to protect and are not prezervation and the otherside working women use failure contraseption methods.Evaluation of result the involuntary pregnancy first involuntary pregnancy often cameout with 44% alive birth second and third?s usually came out with abortus curratage .In study 84% women used to contraseptıon methods and 15.9% women didn?t useany methods. And the contrseption methods are used at group of working womenmore than at unworking women?s group. The among of contraseption methods arechosen constantly condom(firstly) ,spiral(secondary) ,and coitus interruptus . Toprevent of the involuntary pregnancy must use the contraseption methods effectivelyand correctly . Also this study shows that if the women become pregnant more thanone the curratage count will be increase. So we should give education and moreinformation about contraseption methods from health foundations to fertile agewomenKey: involuntary pregnancy,curratage ,family planning ,pegnancy frequency.
