Abstract (EN)
The tourism industry is a labor-intensive and generally service-produced industry.For this reason, the human factor plays a very important role in the profitability of tourism enterprises.Businesses can achieve their goals and objectives only with the success of their employees.Employees, on the other hand, can be productive in organizations that they trust and provide a high level of satisfaction.This study aims to determine whether the organizational trust levels of employees working in hotel businesses differ with demographic characteristics.For this purpose, a survey work was conducted on 320 people working in 4-star hotel enterprises operating in Elazığ and Tunceli province.Research data collected by the survey technique were analyzed through statistical package programs.The data were analyzed with percentage collected with information form and organizational trust scale, independent sample t-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) tests.In the study, it was determined that organizational trust and its sub-dimensions did not differ according to age, education level, department and income rate.On the other hand, in the study, it was concluded that the level of organizational trust differed significantly according to the gender variable.In the study, it was also determined that the organizational trust levels of the employees were high.
