Abstract (EN)

In his works, Cengiz Aytmatov very vividly depicts years full of emotions in his childhood and endless events in the consciousness of people. For this reason, the author includes human beings and their existential struggle in his Works. n his texts, he presents the universal dimensions of events or phenomena that have taken place in people's lower consciousnesses with rich expression. The most important factor for Cengiz Aytmatov to be an important novelist in the Turkish and Western world is that he can attain universality. Although, in almost all of his works, he drew the national values of his people intensively, he did not create a pure identity. The common values of human beings and human life in all societies are kept in line with his national values. These common values serve as a mediator in his works with various shapes and methods. We can see that Aytmatov uses many symbols to create a universal language. The symbol, which acts as a universal communication language, plays an important role in reflecting the concepts that correspond to the common values of emotions and ideas in societies. In addition, the symbols in Aytmatov's works gain value and meaning to correspond to the universal knowledge and truths according to their functions and purposes. On the other hand, we can see that these symbols can have a great effect on the formation of a wide variety of perceptions in the people's world of thought and in the preservation and survival of historical and social values. By creating a common language with many symbols, Aytmatov has made a major contribution to the preservation of the values of other societies, while preserving the values and understanding of his society. Thus, in the age when societies are constantly evolving and rapidly changing, Aytmatov seeks to capture and sustain the universal, using symbols that are still a common language of communication in the existential struggle of human beings. Cengiz Aytmatov, using symbols that define the unity of many things in the natural and spiritual world, has made the texts become a universal indicator with a strong reference to our universe and existence within the framework of the themes and characters in his works.
