Abstract (EN)

The Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh), who has been send as a mercy to the worlds, had fulfilled his duty to interpret and reveal the Qur'an properly until the end of his life. As a result of the social structure that emerged with the conquests after the death of the last prophet, it can be seen that language studies increased in parallel with the deterioration in language and that a linguistic interpretation trend had come out from the exegesis of the Qur'an. At the same time, the need to create new Islamic rulings that are suitable for the changing social structure had arisen. Accordingly, it is recorded that there has been an increase in the studies on Ahkam al-Qur'an commentaries, in which the verses of the rulings in the Qur'an are examined. It is widely known that the scholars generally wrote their tafsir books in their mastership period, and that they displayed all their abilities and knowledge in their tafsir books. In this regard, the linguistic explanations in the Ahkam al-Qur'an, as a final book, written by Abu Bakr al-Jassas, who lived in the 4th century of the Hegira, seems considerably important. It is understood from his philological explanations that he also had a considerable accumulation of linguistic commentary. In this thesis, we will examine the linguistic interpretations of Jassas in his tafsir and try to determine the importance of his book Ahkam al-Quran in terms of linguistic tafsir.
