Abstract (EN)
In the last century, worldwide population growth and the concentration of the population in urban areas necessitated the construction of new buildings in these areas. The buildings are mostly reinforced concrete, and the basic building block is concrete. Concrete, on the other hand, consists of a combination of various additives. Due to the intensive use of concrete, many studies have been carried out on concrete additives. However, the number of studies on the chemical contents of these additives is quite limited. There is a significant lack of information about the chemical contents of these additives, which causes a lack of information about the environmental effects of construction activities as well as the health of the people working in the sector. In this study, heavy metals such as Pb, Cr, Zn, Ba, Mn, Li, Ga, Ag, B, Co, Bi, Mg, As, Cd, which are highly harmful to human and environmental health, were investigated in some materials used as concrete additives. Concentrations of Ni, Se, Pt, Na, K, Ca, Fe, Cu, In, P, Sr, S, V, Sn, Au, Ti, Mo, Nb, Sb, Ge and Al elements were evaluated. The study results include Pb, Cr, Zn, Ba, Mn, Li, Ga, Ag, B, Co, Bi have shown that metals can reach very high concentrations.
