Abstract (EN)

In general, television and especially the effects of cartoons on children are one of the important research topics investigated by many different disciplines. Especially with the widespread use of the Internet, both the live and old episodes of the cartoons can be watched on the websites of both youtube and television. This study is important in terms of conducting content analysis of the cartoons in the Diyanet TV channel which is a cultural broadcasting. The results obtained are also important for the transfer of the study from the theoretical field to the application field. In this study, we will analyze the values of cartoons published on Diyanet TV channel. Our study consists of two parts as theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, we tried to form a conceptual and theoretical framework by making literature review about our study. In the application part, we used content analysis from qualitative research methods. For this purpose, ten sections of the cartoons we determined were analyzed and visual data analysis was performed. The reason we use this method is because it is the most appropriate method for the nature of the research.
