Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, various studies have been carried out to improve the electrical and thermal conductivity of epoxy matrix polymer composite materials. It has been demonstrated by some studies in the literature that the addition of carbon nanotubes increases the electrical and thermal conductivity in polymer composites, but for this the distribution in the matrix should be good. In this study, nano clay and amino silane agent (N-(2-Aminoethyl-3-aminopropyl)trimethoxysilane) were used to improve the dispersion of carbon nanotubes in the epoxy matrix. The effects on both the distribution of carbon nanotubes and their electrical and thermal conductivity were investigated by adding nano clay and amino silane agents at different rates to the composites produced with the addition of carbon nanotubes at different rates.
