Child neglect and abuse is an area in which protective-preventive studies with serious negative effects on child-family-society should be carried out. Teachers have a critical importance in recognizing and preventing abuse because they are the first Professionals to communicate with and around the family for long periods of time. The aim of this study is to examine the knowledge and experiences of school counsellors about child sexual abuse and to provide a protective- preventive model for child sexual abuse. In this research, a qualitative and descriptive research model has been selected and semi-structured interview form has been used as the data collection tool in order to answer the question " What are the opinions of counsellors about child neglect and abuse and protective-preventiveservices? With in the scope of the research, in-depth interviews were conducted with ten school counsellors. In the qualitative data collection process, the audio record was used and the audio recordings were transferred to Microsoft Office Word during the data analysis. The data obtained within the scope of the semi-structured interview form were subjected to descriptive analysis. Direct quotations are frequently given to illustrate the views of the individuals effectively interviewed in the descriptive analysis. As a result of research, for the protective-preventive aspect of neglect and abuse. It is necessary to raise parents'awareness how children can protect themselves especially in preschool process, their personal boundaries, their private parts, the difference between good touch and bad touch, the body belongs to their own, anybody can't touch them unless they permit, even child's parents can touch child's private parts to only meet the child's needs without giving harm of privacy awareness. The parents should raise the their children without ignoring the principle that the body of child belongs to his/her own by making the parents feel the respect of child's personal boundaries. In these interviews, it was concluded that there should be a psychologist, social worker, sociologist in these units where a social unit to be established in schools and children can be provided with education, development, follow-up and control in a holistic way.
