Usage potential and analysis of renewable energy resources inÇorum province

In this thesis study, the potential, usage status and analysis of renewable energy resources of Çorum province were made. Çorum province, located in the Black Sea Region, is one of the important settlements of our country in terms of renewable energy potential. In this thesis, basic information on energy is given, and information about energy types such as hydroelectric energy, thermal energy, geothermal energy, wind energy, solar energy and other energy sources is presented. In addition, detailed information is given about the transmission and distribution process of energy. Switchgear elements used in the transmission and distribution process have been examined in detail. In the light of the information presented, the potential energy situation for Çorum province has been revealed. According to the potential information provided, energy analysis of Çorum province was carried out. The analysis was put forward in the light of the data received from the institutions, and in this context, information about the renewable power plants established and continuing their current activities was analyzed.
