Abstract (EN)
Covid-19, which emerged in Wuhan, China in December 2019, showed its effects all over the world three months after its emergence and was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization. Covid-19, which created a global confusion with its declaration as a pandemic, caused changes in all global dynamics up to that time, and caused many negative consequences in terms of economic, political and sociological, especially health. In this study, the accommodation area of the tourism sector, which is one of the sectors most affected by Covid-19, was examined and in this context, the factors affecting the hotel preferences of the customers with the epidemic were discussed. Within the scope of the research, hotel preference was handled within the framework of Covid-19 and hygiene factors, and as a result of the established structural equation model, it was determined that the contagion factor had a directly proportional effect on the Covid-19 factor, and the fear of Covid-19 had an inversely proportional effect on the hotel preference intention.
