Abstract (EN)
In this study, social history of Denizli is studied. In writing the social history,after geographical features of Denizli has been stated the historical development of Denizli until Republic is dealt with.The social life in Denizli after the foundation of Republic is studied and also basic subjects of social history such as education and press, general features of the five census held between 1923 and 1950, clothing, nutrition, tradition, in religious life, local litarature Works, sports, healt, social service, economiy and trade, agricultural activities and stock breeding have been evaluated.Key Words: Denizli, Republic, Social, Economic, Culture, Population
