One of the Republic Era journals Güney Art journal and its literary environment

In this study, Güney Monthly Art Journal, which is one of the cultural, art and literary journals, and its literary environment is examined. The introduction of the study begins with a general overview to Turkish Journalism between 1950-1975. The journals that were published in the period between 1950-1975 are given in the introduction section. This period is examined in two divided periods: 1950-1960 and 1960-1975. Because these two periods in which the political and social changes were experienced caused the development of two different organizations in the field of press and publishing. In the first chapter, the aim, the line, the content and content features of Güney Monthly Art Journal are tried to be determined. It shows the range of the genres in Güney Monthly Art Journal and the number of journals published each year. The language of Güney Monthly Art Journal, and the content characteristics according to the genres are examined. After the conception of the language of this period is determined, the language of Güney Monthly Art Journal is worked on. Since Güney Monthly Art Journal is a poetry-based journal, it is tried to determine the conception of poetry of Güney Monthly Art Journal by focusing on the conception of poetry in the period between 1950-1975. Beside the poetry, the other genres in Güney Monthly Art Journal are examined in order to determine the literary aspect of the journal. In the second chapter, some of the texts in the journal have been selected and included in the study. In the third chapter, the index of Güney Monthly Art Journal is released as a chart according to the surnames of the authors.
