Abstract (EN)
In this study, an alpha type Stirling engine with variable phase angle was designed and manufactured. Kinematic relations were used in order to calculate hot and cold volumes. By using isothermal analysis method, cyclic net work and changes of pressure and volume were calculated for phase angle of 70°, 80° and 90°. The cyclic net works were 10.247 J, 10.250 J and 10.199 J for phase angle of 70°, 80° and 90° at 1 bar pressure, hot end temperature of 1000 K and cold end temperature of 300 K, respectively. The engine was manufactured so that phase angle could be changed between 70°-100°. Keywords: Stirling, Phase, Thermodynamics, Isothermal
