Abstract (EN)

In this study, vibrations that occured on the tractor driver?s seat have been measured by experimental method. While driving the tractor on the land, the degree of vibration has been measured with a real driver. In the study, three cushions made by different materials have been used on the seat. Together with the no cushion condition, four different values have been taken. The cushions are made of wool, sponge and cotton. With HVM100 device, vibration values were recorded for each cushion in a period of 60 seconds on different terrain conditions and then, recorded values were transferred to computer. Those information were transformed into graphic with Blaze software program. Displacement and acceleration graphs were obtained. By using standard deviation, coefficent of varition and aritmetic average methods, information about the degree of vibration were reached to interpret the graphs. In vibration insulation, there appeared a range of wool, cotton, sponge and the no cushion condition . The driver seat with no cushion has a weaker insulation when compared with the driver seats with cushion. Data obtained from experiments are suitable for ISO 2631 standard and scientific studies. In addition, friction was observed on the mechanism of driver seat during the movement.
