Abstract (EN)
In this study the nutritional values of the residuum, which is used as an alternative animal feed and contains residual extracts, of thyme, sage, lemon balm, rosemary, laurel and myrtle are investigated. These materials are the waste of an etheric oil manufacturer and need to be dealt with properly. Results of this study showed that when raw plants are evaluated by their DM mean, the highest mean of DM is 73,5373 % which belongs to thyme. When the residuum is evaluated by DM mean highest mean of 33,4045 % belongs to myrtle residuum. Evaluation of HK mean yields that the highest mean of HK is seen on myrtle which is 10,3010 %. The highest mean of HY is found on sage residuum which is 5,6013 %. HS evaluation showed that highest HS mean is 36,5659 % with lemon balm. The highest HP mean is 9,3133 % which is found at the residuum of myrtle. Myrtle residue has the highest values which are 45,4932 % NDF; 55,4750 % NÖM and 2083,76 kcal/kg ME. Highest OM value is 93,4998 % and belongs to laurel residuum. When the residuum is considered due to their ADF and ADL contents, thyme has the highest ratios of 52,5300 % and 10,5902 %, respectively.
