Ill ABSTRACT SEMI AUTOMATIC AERIAL TRIANGULATION WITH AREA BASED MATCHING TECHNIQUES IN DIGITAL PHOTOGRAMMETRY Murat UYSAL Photogrammetry Programme Afyon Kocatepe University Institute of National Science Jun 1999 Assoc.Prof.Dr. Zekai Cevdet CAN The photogrammetric application workstations begin to be done in personal computers with the help of developing computer technology in digital photogrammetry. In this study, the digital photogrammetry software is produced in the PC working area. Some informations are given about the usage of developing software in this study. The most important data of aerial triangulation are obtained by the tie points and ground control points. In this procudure, area based image mathcing techniques are used. The aerial triangulation part of the software is made through bundle block adjustment. The relation between the tie points and ground central points can be calculated by the collinearty condition of the aerial triangulation. The test results obtained with this software are the same as the international standarts. In the conclusion part, the ideas of automatic photogrammetric triangulation and the usage of GPS technology are discussed.
