Abstract (EN)
Teachers are a professional group who are looking up to society, whose knowledge and experience are utilized, who can influence society, and who are respected. Religious education teachers are one of the most essential elements of the education and training system and have an active role in religious education and training. This study aims to determine the knowledge of interest, attitudes and behaviors towards interest, knowledge and perception levels about participation banks, and the level of use of participation banks by religious education teachers in secondary and high schools in Sakarya. The population of this study consists of a total of 774 teachers who provide religious education in secondary and high schools affiliated to Sakarya Provincial Directorate of National Education. The sample of the study consists of 315 religious education teachers who participated in the research. In determining the sample, the "convenience sampling" method, one of the sampling techniques without probability calculation, was used. According to the results, it was determined that teachers' knowledge of interest is low, but their knowledge of carrying charge is high. Participants' perceptions of knowledge about participation banks and Islamic finance are high. It was observed that the level of knowledge of teachers about financial transactions in the participation bank was low. In addition, it was concluded that teachers prefer participation banks when they want to evaluate their savings and when they want to use financing.
