The dialect of Dinar and Evciler

The aim of this study is to determine the dialect characteristics of the villages and towns of Dinar and Evciler , the districts of Afyonkarahisar. In order to detect the dialect characteristics of the stated districts, collections (compilations) from town centers and villages were arranged. The compiled materials were dictated with respect to the system which is given in ''The Phonetic Transcription Alphabet That Will Be Used In Dialect Researches'', advised by The Turkish Linguistic Society. The dialect characteristics of Dinar and Evciler Region are explained with the help of the research conducted on the compiled (collected) text material according to phonetic, morphology and dictionary studies. Additionally, similarity check and comparison between Dinar and Evciler Region dialect and the following region dialects are done to find out differantiation and resemblance with the neighbouring regions? dialects: Kütahya and Its Region Dialects, Usak Dialects, Afyon Centre Dialect, Isparta Centre Dialect, Sultandagı Dialect, Dialect of Basmakçı and Dazkırı, Sandıklı Region Dialect.
