Abstract (EN)
The concept of worker and workplace are concepts that have existed for centuries. The concept of Occupational Health and Safety started with the Code of Hammurabi, dictated by the Babylonian ruler in BC, and continued with the industrial revolution in Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries. In our country, the first known occupational health and safety studies started in the 12th century with the Ahi Order (Fütüvvet) Organization. And it continues with the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, which was enacted in 2012. Over time, the concepts of occupational health and safety have come to the fore. While the concept of Occupational Health means that the employee is healthy and protected from dangers; The concept of Occupational Safety refers to eliminating dangerous situations for the employee. Occupational health and safety is implemented in all public and private sectors.It will become mandatory in our country as of 31.12.2023. Hospitals are places where OHS application is mandatory. The reason is the risks arising from various factors in the healthcare sector. A well-prepared risk assessment method can prevent danger before it occurs. While preparing the risk assessment, the risk assessment stages should be followed step by step and feedback should be provided. Risk assessment is also important in the method used.In this study, "Comparison of Fine-Kinney and Fuzzy Fine-Kinney in the Risk Analysis Performed in the Dental Hospital" will be made. The reason why the Fine-Kinney method is mostly used in risk analysis is that it provides more reliable and accurate analysis than other methods. Fuzzy Fine-Kinney is mostly used in engineering fields.In this method, it is aimed to obtain more accurate results by using the triangular membership function in the matlap application by taking the value itself, its upper and lower values. While the number of risks obtained by the Fine Kinney method was 227, 65 of these values were insignificant risks, 142 were possible risks, 9 were significant risks, and 11 were high risks, while no very high risks were encountered. With the Fuzzy Fine Kinney method, our number of risks is 227, 64 of these values are possible risks, 151 are significant risks, 12 are high risks, while insignificant risks and very high risks were not detected. While the average risk value was 42.72 according to the Fine Kinney method, the average risk value increased to 101.40 with the Fuzzy Fine Kinney method. Hazards that are considered as possible risks when the Fine Kinney method is applied turn into significant risks when the Fuzzy Fine Kinney method is applied. This shows us that we need to increase our precautions a little more and be more careful in taking precautions.
