Abstract (EN)

The approach of this study is based on a literature review for the Philips Pavilion and its' architect Iannis Xenakis within the perspective on how this Pavilion synthesizes the music, architecture and visual art. In this context, the acoustic and architectural components designed for the performance named Poème Électronique is presented together with the disciplines of music and visual arts in order to create a 'multimedia' show. The conceptual framework of this study includes the concept of interdisciplinary and the biography of Xenakis, and the findings section includes the detailed assessment on different components of the Poème Électronique performed at the Philips Pavilion. As a conclusion, the components of the Philips Pavilion and Poème Électronique are discussed through contemporary perspective and their reflections on contemporary art are shown in different examples.
