Abstract (EN)
This research; It is an artistic perspective of the Hevsel Gardens, which has existed as a living and ancient garden for 8 thousand years, and its relationship with nature and the nourishment of the city. The long-term interaction between nature and humans provides a rich basis for understanding the role of important ecosystems such as the Hevsel Gardens in the development of human culture and civilization.Human beings have interacted with nature throughout their existence. Man and nature point to the reality of life that complements each other. In this context, Hevsel Gardens, fed by the rich water resources of Mesopotamia, represent one of the important relationships that humanity has established with nature. These gardens are of great importance not only ecologically, but also culturally and socially. The Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, which continue to exist in the lands of Mesopotamia, which is considered the cradle of civilizations, have been a source of habitat for various living creatures.Hevsel Gardens, one of these habitat examples, has made significant contributions to branches of science such as ecology and zoology in line with research. Additionally, these gardens have played an important social and economic role for human societies throughout history. In this geography where civilizations are established and destroyed, human interaction with nature is inevitable. In this context, history offers us various examples. In addition to providing sociological, economic and cultural contributions to the society in the geography where Hevsel Gardens exist, it has been a source of inspiration for many artists, writers and thinkers. This inspiration led to the enrichment of visual arts and literary works and the increase in the symbolic importance of the Hevsel gardens.Another aim of this research is to make studies in the context of visual arts and literary works and to bring together the obtained data, as well as to express with pictures the result of the change and transformation of Hevsel Gardens in the 21st century. Thus, attention will be drawn to the potential of art to emphasize the historical and cultural importance of Hevsel Gardens. This research aims to present a multidisciplinary approach by shedding light on important issues such as the relationship between nature and humans, the preservation of cultural heritage and the impact of art on history and the environment.
