An application of production planning to a virtual oil refinery company with the help of linear programming

Linear programming is a mathematical method that finds a wide application area in business of production, labor use and storages planning solutions. Continuous product refinement process has a large share of oil refineries in the World economy. Because it has a wide usage area of this product has increased the dependency and the petroleum refining technology constantly improving since the beginning of 20 the century and today has reached the top level. The business who realized the strategic importance of this product they have aimed to rich the most profitable optimization by taking a advantage of linear programming.In this study, the production plan of a petroleum product manufacturing company has been prepared linear programming technique. This study is organized into three main sections. The first section, production planning and production system are explored the theoretical level that depending on the type of planning. The second section is the process of modeling with the help of the linear programming technique. The final part of the work is a petroleum products manufacturer production plan with the help of the linear programming technique which name WINQSB 2, 0 package program. In the future, it will be used in a manner that is guiding the work carefully.
