Abstract (EN)
This study examines the political events that occurred between 1960 and 1980, focusing on hazelnut producers in the Eastern Black Sea Region. The development of hazelnut production in the region altered economic balances, leading producers to undergo economic and social transformations within the framework of the market economy. At this point, emerging demands and aspirations were integrated into the political dynamics of the period, initiating a process of political struggle. In this study, we aim to analyze this process using a conceptual framework borrowed from Antonio Gramsci, E. P. Thompson, and Charles Tilly.
